My issue is: I have a backup job created for the sites I was already managing… now I’ve added one more site to my MainWP dashboard, and I want the backup job to apply to the new site too. When I press the “Backup now” button on my backup job, I get the error message:

Can anyone help? (I’m also not sure what the error message is trying to tell me… I have not overridden any global settings, I just added the site, and I did manually sync MainWP again) Thanks!
The old topic you’ve linked to does not seem to be related to this situation.
After you’ve added a new site that has BackWPUp plugin installed, before you can trigger a backup, you need to first create a backup job on that new site.
To do this, navigate to Backup Jobs, find the desired backup job, and click the Edit button.
Then, simply re-save that backup job to update it on sites that already have it and create it on sites that do not have it.
