Hi,
the process of adding a site stucks withoun any response or result.
Connection is positive in the test before.
There seems no SSL Problem or anything else. Adding other sotes also works.
I have deactivated all Security options on the site for further tests.
The Memory Limit of the site is 512 MB and everything is updated there.
When you try to add the site, does the process just hang indefinitely, or does it eventually time out or show an error message?
It’s also a good idea to check with your hosting provider on the child site’s server if there are any security features, firewalls, or specific configurations (like mod_security) that might block requests from your MainWP Dashboard.
And as always, make sure that you’re running the latest versions of MainWP Dashboard and MainWP Child plugins.
Apologies for the delayed response. I have only recently gained access to the provider.
When adding, I get a positive test connection, and the site properties in the backend of MainWP are all fine. However, the process itself just hangs. Even after minutes, nothing happens. No timeout or error.
The provider has not activated any additional security rules. I am also waiting for other sites of other clients that are with this provider – everything worked without issues.
WordPress, MainWP, and the plugins are all up to date. PHP 8.2 is active. Unfortunately, I’m out of ideas on what else could be done.
i had a look into the list of existing sites once more today and there it was.
A bit strange. So finally - it’s all about a missing warning, that the site still existed and some strange behavior before…
