The check for available updates cron isn’t triggering in 4.3b2. I tried running the updatescheck.php from the command line, no errors but that doesn’t set the status.
After further investigation, we found that the problem was not 4.3 related and was caused by an incorrect DB value saved in the DB. After resaving settings, the problem seems resolved.
