Clean & Lock (Dashboard Lock) on NGINX Server

In the clean & lock overview page, it mentions that it modifies .htaccess. Since I’m on a NGINX host, is there a way to get this plugin to work? Presently, the redirect works, but locking down admin/login pages does nothing.

Hey @MikeX3

Considering NGINX doesn’t support or approve of .htaccess, locking down admin/login pages cannot work out-of-the-box.

You can check if the .htaccess file will be generated after enabling those options in Dashboard Lock, and then manually try importing those rules to nginx.conf.

Here’s a handy tool for converting the instructions: htaccess to nginx converter
