I’ve started to use https://microanalytics.io/ for the analytics on some new sites as the team behind it don’t use cookies and are serious about the privacy of your and your user’s data. It gives all of the analytics most people really only look at and - from my tests - catches a lot of traffic that is actually missed by Google Analytics.
They have a developer API at Developers - Microanalytics.io so it would be amazing to have this supported as an analytics option in the MainWP dashboard, especially for people trying to move services away from Google.
