Given the current problems with Google Analytics and GDPR, we have dropped support for GA altogether and I am currently looking at alternatives. One that I particularly like is Statify by PluginKollectiv. In their own words:

They already have a number of hooks available in their documentation, so it shouldn’t be too hard for someone more experienced than me to create a MainWP extension to integrate Statify and MainWP/Pro Reports in a similar manner to GA, without all of the ‘phoning home’ to Google?
Any seconders?
