Extension settings and child site settings?

This might be a stupid question… I have installed some MainWP extensions like for example Wordfence and UpdraftPlus.

When I go to Sites/Manage Sites and then look in Wordfence or UpdraftPlus I don’t see the same plugin settings as those on my child sites.

I had expected the Wordfence and UpdraftPlus extensions to take over the plugin settings from the child sites, to synchronize them. But that doesn’t seem to be the case?

That is correct. The extensions do not pull the existing settings from the plugins on the child sites.

So when you initially install the extensions and want to have an accurate reflection of the plugin settings on child sites, you’ll have to manually configure the MainWP extensions.
