How can we add multiple changelog notes to show on the customer's dashboard and reports?

Hi Everyone,

I’m new to MainWP and have studied all the extensions and the platform. Almost everything is great, but there is one big function that I can’t find (except for the note field).

I’ve completed several tasks on my customer’s website, and I’d like to add and show these:

• In the MainWP Dashboard under “Overview” and before “Edit”, I would like a function to add multiple notes with three fields: Date, Work Done, and Developer who made the tasks.
• If possible, I would like to show this in the report.
• Additionally, if possible, show the notes in the customer’s WP Dashboard.

I’ve done many tests and can create the note inside the “Edit” section, but it is not the right place for me.

Does anyone have a solution for this?

Welcome to the MainWP community!

With our Time Tracker extensions, you can track the work you do for your clients and include this information in the Pro Reports. More about the extension here: Time Tracker - MainWP Knowledgebase

However, with Time Tracker, you cannot show notes directly in the customer’s WP Admin, if that’s what you were referring to.

I’ve tested “Time Tracker” extensively, but I have a couple of questions/issues:

• I’m unable to change the date/time interval of the task. The calendar is displayed, but I cannot change or save any updates.
• The tasks I have completed are not shown in the report. I enabled the Time Tracker section in the Pro report; I see the title, but I do not see the tasks.

Is it possible to fix this or add some fields that are very useful for me in the Pro Report and in the customer’s datasheet?

Can you please send us screenshots for both of these issues so we can better understand the context?

Can you please post the community system report from your MainWP Dashboard for review? The report is located in your Dashboard under Info → Server, on the top right of the page.

While I couldn’t reproduce the issue of the calendar being drawn outside the popup video, like it’s hapenning for you, I’ve passed this to our development team and they will look into it further.

In the mean time, can you try zooming out your MainWP Dashboard page in Chrome and see if that helps?

I couldn’t reproduce the issue of Time Tracker data not showing up in the report.

Would you mind opening a private Help Desk ticket so we can collect some additional information & investigate further?

I tried to zoom, but it does not work because the calendar window is inside the modal. However, my main issue is that when I try to add the date manually, it does not save the information.
