Hi, I wonder if the premium extension MainWP Post Plus can choose category for each site when bulk posting? Thanks.
Right now, all the categories are mixed and you can’t tell which category belong to which site, especially when some sites with the same category name.
This is the answer I got from the AI chatbot here, just want to make sure this answer is legit and not hallucination:
To manage post categories for each site individually, you can use the MainWP Post Plus extension. This extension allows you to select categories specific to each child site when publishing a post. For more detailed guidance, you can visit the MainWP Community or check the documentation…
The Post Plus extension does not have an impact on how the categories are displayed when bulk posting.
The category dropdown list works like this:
Site 1 Category A
Site 1 Category B
Site 1 Category C
Site 2 Category A
Site 2 Category B
Site 2 Category C
If there is a category with the same name across multiple sites, it will be displayed only once in the list. This means that if all categories are exactly the same across all sites, the list will look like this:
Site 1 Category A
Site 1 Category B
Site 1 Category C
But as you pointed out, right now, there is no indication of which site a certain category belongs to in the Select categories dropdown.
