I’m trying to clone my site with a legacy back up since the site I wants to clone is over 900MB but when i press the toggle to enable legacy backups and then press save the toggle reverts as if i never pressed it and the setting does not get saved.

On my Dashboard, once I enable the toggle and save settings, the toggle stays on.
Based on this post, the legacy backups toggle appears to have started working for you. Is that correct?
correct but now my backups are being stalled and not working
