Hi is there a way to link scheduled maintenance to backups? Otherwise scheduled maintenance seems a bit pointless if I manually need to backup my databases before running this schedule? Or am I not looking at this right?

At the moment, there is no way to link these actions.
If you want you can submit your suggestion to the Features section.
