I use Gridpane’s Peakfreq in $27.01 plan (2 CPUs & 2 GB RAM) for my MainWP dashboard.
I added 14 child sites.
It disconnected 3-8 sites all day.
I already re-connected but didn’t work.
All 14 sites have very low traffic and resource(traffic just 1-100/month & 100+ MB size/site).
My child sites hosted on WPX hosting and the hosting that on my country.

What error message do you get when you try reconnecting your sites?
Have you tried deactivating and reactivating the Child site plugin on these sites and then reconnecting them?
I don’t think I can be of much help, but I will say that I run MainWP with 50+ domains on a simple $5 VULTR and it’s fine, so this isn’t an issue of the power of your server.
Most likely there is some kind of security feature blocking things. Whether MODSEC or a rate limiter or any other scanner. There is a lot of traffic between MainWP and the website, so this is a lot from one IP and you don’t want security tools to find it suspicious, so you may need to whitelist or something.
Something to think about.
