Notifications on the phone

Hello everyone,

I’m new to MainWP. As a web designer, I’ll also be offering hosting to my clients as a reseller, and I’d like to monitor their websites through MainWP. For example, if a website goes down or if something critical happens, I’d like to receive a notification on my phone immediately so I can take action right away.

I read online that setting up a Pushover account, downloading the app, and linking it via the WordPress plugin would work for this purpose. However, when I do this, I keep getting an "wp_mail() error detected! It is more than likely that your MainWP Dashboard will fail to send any email. Please check for possible plugin conflicts with your Dashboard or contact your host support to determine why the wp_mail() function fails. " message.

What are your experiences with setting this up, and how do you ensure you receive these notifications directly on your phone?

Hey @DoctorHack85

Welcome to the MainWP community.

I don’t have experience with Pushover, but I can say that the wp_mail() error detected! can sometimes be a false positive.

If email deliverability appears to be fine, you can dismiss and ignore that warning.
