Site disconnected

Hello I have a child website that suddenly disconnected 14 days ago. Still now I can not reconnect the website.

This is the error message :
MainWP Child plugin not detected or could not be reached! Ensure the MainWP Child plugin is installed and activated on the child site, and there are no security rules blocking requests. If you continue experiencing this issue, check the MainWP Community for help.

No changes are on that website, plugin is instaled, no rules blocking. Nothing changed here.

Any ideas on how to proceed?

Hey @alainL

Can you try deactivating and reactivating the MainWP Child plugin and then try reconnecting the site once more?

If that doesn’t help, navigate to the Tools page of your Dashboard site (/wp-admin/admin.php?page=MainWPTools), and then click the Reset OpenSSL Key Pair.

Then, from the popup window, select the disconnected site and try resetting the key pair.

Naturally, also make sure that you’re running the latest version of the MainWP Child (v5.2) and Dashboard (v5.2) plugins.

Thanks for your reply. I tried what you said but it does not help.

Still same error:

MainWP Child plugin not detected or could not be reached! Ensure the MainWP Child plugin is installed and activated on the child site, and there are no security rules blocking requests. If you continue experiencing this issue, check the MainWP Community for help.

If I click Test Connection in the dashboard ,then it says Connection succesfull. But still I can nnot connect this website anymore.

Thanks for trying that.

Would you mind opening a private Help Desk ticket so we can collect some additional information & investigate further?

And please refer to this Managers thread by its URL in the ticket.
