Hi!
I noticed that mainwp is not detecting the Toolset plugins updates. Is this a known issue? And is there a fix?
Kind regards, hrbrt
I’ve got Toolset plugins installed on 1 site and these updates are detected by MainWP as soon as they are detected by WordPress. It’s also possible to install these updates via MainWP.
However I think that WordPress doesn’t detect the updates at the moment. This can be caused by a missing license, the way Toolset is checking for updates or because of caching or something.
Did you try to check for updates on the child site, so WordPress sees the updates and after that do another sync in MainWP? If the updates show up then, you know it’s not caused by MainWP.
Hello Jos,
The updates are visible in the website admin, but they are not detected by mainwp. It says there are no plugin updates. Other plugin updates do show up in mwp.
That’s strange. If you haven’t ignored these updates in MainWP Dashboard, I’ll leave it to the support team.
Can you please check on the Plugins > Ignored Updates page, if you have Toolset added to the list?
As always, make sure to synchronize your Dashboard so it can fetch the fresh information from child sites about available updates.
And can you please post the community system report from your MainWP Dashboard for review? The report is located in your Dashboard under Info → Server, on the top right of the page.
Be sure to use the button like the one below; this button hides all your private information:
Pressing the button auto-copies the report to your clipboard then just paste it in a reply here.

If your Dashboard is synchronized, and the Child site is showing the update while MainWP Dashboard does not, please try following the steps from this help document.
First, go through the Troubleshooting steps, and if the issue persists, please go through the steps outlined in Enhance Compatibility section.
It seems to be working again. Looks like sometimes the Toolset server is not serving the updates to WP.
