Im a new client in the race buying PRO next month. We already have everything setup but am curious about theme pushed plugins like WPBakery or Layerslider for example through TGMPA. Is there a view or similar to start these updates from MainWP?
@Danny_Schuller If the plugin is installed on the Child Site and not ignored MainWP should pick it up just fine on the Updates page.
If you are having an issue detecting a specific plugin update please let us know and we can work that out.
Please let us know if there is anything else we can help you with.
No. In talking about premium themes that come with premium plugins. These plugins are manual updates when you update the theme. Plugins like wpbakery and layerslider are not updated through the normal plugin but rather a theme plugin repository. Example Betheme or Ave (and many other payed plugins that package premium plugins in their themes)
The update function relies on the offical repository. Since these are not available for free there it won’t work. But you can push those updates manually by bulk installing the package on your network (plugins - install - upload zip) which works fine.
I understand that. But keep in mind that a premium bought theme distributes certain other premium plugins through their theme (ex: WP bakery Layerslider etc).
