Hi,
I’ve been running https://mydomain.tld/wp-content/plugins/mainwp/cron/updatescheck.php from easycron.com for years without any problems.
Recently the number of outdated plugins isn’t updated anymore.
When I test the cronjob on easycron.com it succeeds.
Manually synching a child site with outdated plugins does update the number of plugins.
Looking forward to learn what I can do to make the updates work again.
Dashboard: 5.2.1; child plugins: 5.2.
Best,
Lukas

Hi Bojan,
thanks.
Here you go.

Thanks for the system report.
It appears that the Use WP Cron is disabled in the MainWP settings.
In that case, the server-side crons need to be configured for each individual job as instructed in this document.
On the other hand, if you want to use one server-side cron to just trigger WP Cron, then that option in the MainWP Settings needs to be enabled.
Hi Bojan,
thank you.
As I wrote in the op the updatescheck cronjob at easycron.com stopped working.
I’m ok with setting up the cronjob on the server’s crontab but what makes me hesitate is “…and then perform auto-updates if any exist” – I don’t want this to happen. Isn’t there a cronjob without that part?
Best,
Lukas
Please excuse me.
I chose to enable WP Cron and trigger it with one server-side cron as you suggested. This works perfectly.
Thanks for your help!
Kind regards,
Lukas
Hey Lukas,
Great, I’m glad that suggestion helped.
You are quite welcome.
