Hide Update All on every screen?

Is there a way to disable the “Update all” feature?

I know there is a setting to disable it, but it’s only disabling it on the main overview page.

I want to completely disable the “Update all” also on the Update pages for Plugins, Translations, Themes. I rather manually select and control the updates. I find it rather dangerous to be able to click Update all by mistake.

Currently, I decided to just hide it. Not sure if it should be done a better or another way or of this workaround is fine.

.mainwp-update-all-button {
    display: none !important;
}

Hey @markus998

There isn’t an option to disable those Update all buttons on Updates pages.

So hiding them via CSS as you did is currently the only way to remove them.

Thanks for letting me know - I’ll need to see if it works correctly when I just hide it like I suggested.

Overall, I think many people perhaps don’t want to just blindly update but select/check first, so perhaps this would be a possible feature request to consider for future updates
