Sync not working

Hello,
I changed my website server, when I deactivate or reactivate mainwp child, mainwp does not see the difference.
whatever the configuration, it indicates Connection successful!
I deactivated my cache plugin without success

Hey @Jean_David

Can you please provide more details on this issue?

Did you change the server of the MainWP Dashboard or the Child site? Or both?

Did the domains stay the same?

When you try to sync the site, does it complete successfully?

just child site
This is usually no problem.

Usually, after site migration, it can take up to a few days before the DNS cache clears from your dashboard site server and DNS starts resolving properly.

I assume that your dashboard is still sending requests to the old IP address of the child site.

When you run the Test Connection feature and get a success message, do you get the IP address of the child site too? If yes, is it the correct IP?

If you want, you can wait for a day or two and see if the issue resolves, or if you prefer, you can ask your dashboard site host provider to flush DNS cache from the server and see if that speeds up the process.

good morning,
yes, I get the ip address of the domain name, it’s correct.
I also see that main wp is stuck on this message:
Adding the site to your MainWP Dashboard. Please wait…

Thanks for the update @Jean_David.

Would you mind opening a private Help Desk ticket so we can collect some additional information & investigate further?

And please refer to this Managers thread by its URL in the ticket.

I had the same on a lot of sites after migration to a new server. Fortunatly it was my own mistake. (easier to fix). I had https://www.domainname.xx on my previous server but on my new it was https://domainname.xx. Such little differences in URL prevented mainwp to contact the child site. Maybe if you check that?
